Using only black and white and shading techniques in Photoshop, this second issue of my original comic strip features graphic transitions and visual humour to successfully acheive an impactuous arrangement in the classic style of a 1 page comic short.
In designing an original character from a line drawing it becomes essential to be able to transfer the rough work into Photoshop to complete the design. With the use of brushes to refine and model, and through the addition of color and lighting, I was able to provide a 3 Dimensional result.
From start to finish this piece allowed the full spectrum of steps that are involved in successfully creating an identity and implementing the components to fulfill brand requirements.
Through the scanning of everyday materials ( scarf & baseball hat ) I was able to distort and create a completely original digital painting that shows a lot of brushwork and lighting considerations for acheiving three dimensionality.
Using realistic constraints related to the submission of ads for print in Newspaper I was able to create this piece which encompasses my ability to advertise and promote a product with original packaging.

A campaign to reposition a corporate identity for a refreshing and revitalizing new message to be conveyed in the form of magazine ads.
Designing the original Logo and Tagline components was the first step in a large process of 2 ad campaigns with different positions to be introduced to different markets. This logo offered many possibilities and was strong enough to incorporate a variety of features and benefits within its identity.
