Nowadays, economy is growing with high speed. Technology is tacking over this world. Seems like this world is becoming a better place to live for human, but is wrong. There are so many problems show up with increasing economy. This society is improving, but as a human, we are going back. We are losing our humanity based on the problems we have in this world now. It’s also my inspiration of this collection. I’m putting irony in this collection, try to use a funny way to show the serious problems in this world. According to my research, feminine elements is in trend, I well use elements like volumes, flares to show the issue at the same time. It will be a full/winter collection for 2016. I will target the market based on people who work in artistic industry. The age range for my clientele will be between 21 to 35 year old female, from fashionable city like London, Milan, Tokyo and New York City. Most of my clienteles will be from New York City and Tokyo, because art and fashion industry are developed in New York, and Tokyo is also well known of people’s avant-garde dressing style. The selling point of my garment will be mostly the story behind. Each of my garment represent a social problem, it’s fashionable and meaningful at the same time. This collection will be sale mostly on avant-garde buyer store like opening ceremony. It’s not necessary for my customer to have high education, but they will work in art or fashion industry, and they have many occasion to wear avant-garde clothing. Their income is not necessary to be very high, as long as they are willing to pay for the garments they want to have. For example, many people don’t have high income, but they are saving money and buy brand or designer garments. This collection is mostly boxy and trapezoid silhouette. Because this collection is representing social problems, so I will use the new digital colors to present the problems that come with growing economy and technology. The price range will be between $240 to 300 for a top, $160 to 300 for a skirt or pants and $460 - $800 for a dress. My competitor will be Moschino, Jean Paul Gaultier and Shang Guan Zhe. The relevant points of sale are this collection is meaningful, it shows that customer care about our society, is not enough to show the fashion taste, it also important to be relevant with current affair.
