P/T Receptionist (Afternoons/Evenings)

We are current seek a P/T Receptionist to join our growing team.

Position Summary:

The P/T Receptionist has primary responsibility for answering all incoming calls and for providing excellent customer service to the members of the our team, our students, their parents, plus members of the general public who may be visiting LaSalle College Vancouver.

  • Greeting visitors in a friendly, welcoming and professional manner then directing them to their proper destination.
  • Answering and routing incoming calls in a timely manner; and, correctly and politely taking message, as required.
  • Routing calls promptly and correctly to the proper AiV Team member or to his/her voicemail; and, correctly and politely taking messages, as required.
  • Assisting, as necessary, with special projects, Admission events, and direct or bulk mail projects.
  • Processing and sorting incoming mail.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Must be able to communicate and effectively act as a member of a team.
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and to work under pressure.
  • Familiar with a multiple line switchboard supplemented by a proven ability to handle a large volume of calls.

Applicants should have a flexible schedule that allows them to work from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Monday to Thursday, and on the occasional Friday or Saturday, as required.
