Inspired by the disappearance and search for MA 370. As jetsam was found throughout the Indian Ocean, a desperate need manifested itself through the media to be first to solve the enigma. Even if they were wrong. Orlando Saint-‐Sebastien was born and raised in Queensland. Escape for his imagination was provided by classic movie reruns and reading. He came across an encyclopedic history of art when he was nine years old and found his first glimpse of a Miró and a Pollock was excitingly shocking. After graduating secondary school he went into the work force but always spent as much time as possible travelling through over 30 countries to experience the greatest art and culture the world could offer. He moved to Melbourne to study art and design as a mature age student and conceptually interrogate his eclectic tastes. He has shown in ‘SPACE’ exhibition at the VSSEC in 2015 and ‘DISTRACTING NARCISSUS’ in 2016. He also volunteers at the Brunswick Street Gallery as a gallery assistant.
