ORDER PROJECT NORMCORE

In Today’s world of new possibilities, established limits and boundaries are broken. A more accepting and less judgemental world is emerging. This ironic collection of one size fits all garments represented a classless society. It’s a quiet rebellion and a reaction to fashion’s ever-changing cycle. It’s more than a luxe interpretation of the so-called “normcore” look . It’s an ironic interpretation of the banal, everyday apparel rooted in the casual suburban “non-fashion” of the early 90’s. It is a denim renaissance It is a modest yet powefull apearence For this genderless group collection of SS2017, I made a pair of culottes made out of Navy Nylon. The original design was supposed to a pair of layered culottes made out of white denim. However, a floor-length culottes with smoked elastic waistband and drawstring was suggested for a sporty look after the critic.
