CREATIVITY PROJECT REBUILDING

The term "refugee" has been the basis of inspiration to create garments that visualize and give voice to the people. Based on the research of their current situation and visions for the future,I got inspiration from refugee shelters, the 3D polygonal geometry transformation has been created, which also symbolises the hardship for reconstruction. The concept of wood was marred to this theme implying the refugee’sdesire for freedom and fleeing persecution. The shirt is made out of melton and cow leather and veneer are glued on the top. The culottes is made out of Cashmere. The contrast of dark leather and light veneer simbolizes the process of rebuilding the homeland piece by piece.
