Biographie

I'm Abdellah Kafile, a student in LaSalle college. I'm an aspiring digital artist and animator. I started designing at the age of 12, where I learnt how to use programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Maxon Cinema 4D through trial and error and with my growing knowledge of technology, I was able to teach myself how to create art completely digitally. I've always had a fascination towards art as my family were involved in art-based industries such as architecture and interior design. I got my inspiration from my family but unfortunately I don't have the same abilities when it comes to drawing by hand. But in what I wasn't able to do, i developed a skill that no one in my family was able to, which was software-based design. Throughout the years, I created a small brand on YouTube where I would create videos of my designing and speed it up into a video. It caught the attention of many people slowly. With networking and my previous portfolio, large-scale brands on YouTube contacted me to commission their branding on their respective channels. I was able to develop a following until I decided to stop as I had issues going on at the time. For almost three years, I completely lost motivation and the will to design until I found my new path. I enrolled into LaSalle College in 2017 where I've been given the opportunity to fulfill my goals and dreams by learning the material that a self-taught designer doesn't know and improve the skills I have developed.
