The Art Institute of Vancouver

The Art Institute of Vancouver provided education in design, media arts, event management, fashion, and culinary arts. The original main campus was founded in Burnaby in 1979 as the Centre for Digital Imaging and Sound. In 1982, Dubrulle International Culinary & Hotel Institute of Canada (later, The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Vancouver) was established, and in 2010, all programs were relocated to their current location at the Renfrew Campus. The Art Institute of Vancouver was registered and accredited by the Private Training Institutions Branch. In 2017, LCI Education acquired the Art Institute of Vancouver, which eventually became LaSalle College Vancouver.
