Once again this year, LaSalle College promises an ambitious program at the M.A.D. Festival, which will be held from August 22 to 25 at Place des Festivals, at the corner of Ste-Catherine West and Jeanne-Mance Street.
Grandes rencontres M.A.D.: Thierry-Maxime Loriot in the Spotlight
August 21 – 6 p.m. | Wilder Space
As part of the Grandes rencontres M.A.D., Stéphane Le Duc, ambassador of LaSalle College, will host a discussion with Thierry-Maxime Loriot, curator of the exhibition "Portraits and Fashion – Quebec Photographers Beyond Borders" at the McCord Stewart Museum.
He will share his experience and admiration for Québec talent, accompanied by several photographers.
The public recording of this meeting will serve as the first episode of the third season of the "Hors Série" podcast, presented by LaSalle College.
Upcycling Workshop: To Create Unique Pieces
August 22 to 25 | Place des Festivals
Throughout the festival, LaSalle College will invite festival-goers to visit its experiential space to participate in an upcycling workshop. In collaboration with Reitmans Canada Ltd., this workshop will highlight the latest developments in textile upcycling.
Participants will be able to create reassembled items, design their own screen prints, or acquire unique pieces from the SGNTR collection, eco-responsibly crafted by LaSalle College’s Fashion Design students.
Anniversary Runway: 65 Years Marked by Fashion
August 23 – 8 p.m. | Place des Festivals – Main Stage
To celebrate its 65th anniversary, LaSalle College will present creations by 65 graduates, showcased on the runway by 65 public figures. This event will be a true celebration of Québec fashion.

Inspira Podcast: To Discover the Inside of the Professional World
