Student-Organized Pop-Up Shop

Fashion Design learners organize two pop-up events as part of their Fashion Creative Industries class, addressing textile waste and the impact of fast fashion. Learners collected donations, set up the space, and educated attendees on sustainable fashion, showcasing their creativity and commitment to making a difference.
During the first pop-up, learners raised $326, and the second event brought in $324, with all proceeds donated to Covenant House BC, a nonprofit organization supporting youth experiencing homelessness.
Gourmet Gathering Series - Holiday Gift Culinary Workshop

The Gourmet Gatherings Series continues this week with a 'Create Your Own Holiday Gifts' Culinary Workshop, a fun and hands-on workshop where everyone learns new skills, meets new people, and creates unique, personalized gifts to celebrate the holiday season.
Participants join us in our culinary kitchen for this sold-out event to make delicious homemade edible gifts, including jams, chocolates, and spiced nuts, perfect for sharing with friends and family.
