For 65 years, LCI Education has been empowering learners to unlock their potential and build futures they can be proud of. With 12 higher education institutions in 9 countries across 5 continents, we’ve learned from every challenge, every milestone, and every learner. What we’ve learned has shaped what we know. As a result, what we do ensures education is transformative, not transactional.

The World is Your Classroom

Over the decades, LCI Education has seen firsthand how education is simultaneously a global and deeply personal experience. As we’ve welcomed learners from 130 countries and delivered programs in six languages, we’ve built a global perspective unmatched by any other Canadian education provider.

Like many, the pandemic tested us like never before. Borders closed, and international learners found themselves unable to reach their chosen campuses. But rather than let them fall behind, we expanded our programs in home countries like Costa Rica, Indonesia, and Morocco. When learners couldn’t come to us, we brought their education to them. That experience cemented our belief that education is not bound by geography – it’s about meeting learners where they are.

From these experiences, we’ve learned what truly matters to today’s learners: flexibility, accessibility, and an elevated learning environment. Generations Z and Alpha demand more than lectures and textbooks; they value accelerated, career-ready programs, personalized support, and campuses that inspire creativity. Education must respond to the market, but also to the people who drive it: our learners.

We know that today’s learners aren’t just looking for degrees – they’re looking for transformation. We’ve learned to reimagine what higher education can and should be, from world-class wellness-focused facilities, like our new campuses in Barcelona and Vancouver, to accelerated degrees that help learners enter the workforce faster. Working with, rather than against, learners’ wants and needs is how we empower the future.

When Canadian learners identified travel costs as a barrier, we worked with airlines to subsidize airfare.
When international learners wanted extracurricular activities that reflected their cultural identities, we created teams like our cricket league, which now competes in post-secondary tournaments.
When industries demanded professionals ready to thrive in a rapidly changing world, we invested in technology-driven facilities and shorter study paths.
